| Instruction to Authors |
- All Presenting Authors Must Enroll for the Conference as Delegate
- Abstract must be received by the due date i.e. 10th October 2010
- If accepted, your abstract will be reproduced exactly as it is typed and will appear in the book of abstracts which will be distributed to all delegates.
- You are requested to go through the abstract submitted carefully and check for spelling mistakes. If too Many spelling mistakes will be found, the paper will be rejected
- As decided by the Governing body the decision of the Scientific Committee will be final about where to accommodate the paper.
- If authors of accepted papers remain absent without prior intimation to the Chairperson of the Sc Committee of AICOG2011, their names will not be considered for two subsequent national conferences.
- The Abstract should be as informative as possible, include Object of the study Methodology, Summary of results and Conclusion.

| General Instructions |
- Oral/Video/ Poster presentations are invited from registered delegates on the theme topics
- Last date for submission of abstract in triplicate to FOGSI office with a copy to Conference Secretariat is 10th October 2010
- Presenting author must be a member of an affiliated society of FOGSI.
- Do send the abstract as e-mail also to the congress secretariat before 10th October 2010.
- Poster presentation, poster size should not exceed 90cm width x 120cms height (3ftx X 4ft).

| Abstract Guidelines |
- Abstracts should be no more than 250 words in length
- Abstract must be typed in black ink using Times New Roman: title font size12, remaining fort size11
- Mention the name of the prize competed for
- With each abstract, a brief biographical paragraph describing the presenting author is required for the use of session chairpersons for introducing presenters where appropriate.
- Leave one line space between the title / author block and the body of the abstract
- Abstract text must be single space. Do not leave blank line between paragraphs.
- Abstracts should be structured in such a way as to include background, Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusion. Or similar arrangement.
- Graphs, illustrations and diagram within abstract are not permitted.
- Assessment criteria for abstracts will include originality of content, relevance to Congress themes, clarity of aims and methods, and significance of results and conclusions.
- All abstracts should be written in English and carefully checked for spelling and grammar.
- All abstracts must be submitted electronically in Microsoft word format. Faxed or hard copy submission will NOT be accepted.
- Notification of acceptance of abstracts for presentation at the congress will occur by 30th October,2010
- Mail the abstract in triplicate to FOGSI office at Mumbai. Send on CD copy and an e-mail to congress secretariat at Hyderabad

| Types of Presentations |
- Oral Presentations
These will be of 6 minutes duration with up to 2 minutes for questions and discussion. These time constraints will be strictly enforced.
- Poster Presentations
Posters will be on displaying during the meeting and delegates will be invited to view the posters and discuss them with the authors during the lunch breaks, which have been timed and sited to allow for both lunch and convenient poster viewing, Authors will be expected to make themselves available at their posters at the designated times during these periods |
| Abstract Terms and Conditions |
- The abstract must be presented by the specified presenting author(s). Proxies will not be permitted.
- The first author (as given on the abstract submission form) will be the main contact for all correspondence about the presentation.
- By submission of an abstract, the author transfers copyright ownership to the congress Managers for publication.
- The Scientific programme committee reserves the right to allocate a session time or presentation type.
- The Scientific programme committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any presentation
- No correspondence with authors will be entered into, except for acknowledgment and rejection or acceptance notice.
